Trans Bodybuilding and Powerlifting Comes to the ATL Saturday, October 5, 2019

Welcome to Atlanta, Competitors and Spectators!

Hello All,

Jumping right in…

BODYBUILDING:

I still haven’t received everyone’s music for the bodybuilding competition. Please get that to me tonight. Email your 60-90 second clip to contact@iatb.info right away.

Check-in for the bodybuilding competition is 3:00pm. The athletes’ meeting will be held around 4:00, after everyone is checked in. You can pay your $30 competition fee at check-in. I’m aware that some of you have paid online already.

POWERLIFTING:

The Powerlifting Competition will now be held as a mock meet since we only had a couple of athletes registered. Please contact Meet DIrector Lis Saunders if you want to participate or if you want to be a spectator. You can email her at lis@teamlissmash.com. She will give you the address for the meet. The zip code for the meet is 30316 if you want to check out the area. It’s not far from the bodybuilding venue. The meet will be held at 12:00 pm.

PARKING:

There is plenty of off-street parking for the bodybuilding competition. The location is 575 Boulevard SE, Atlanta, 30312, in an old church at the corner of Boulevard SE and Rosalie St SE. Once you turn on Rosalie St, you will dead end into Park Ave SE. Park Ave runs beside historic Grant Park.

FOOD:

There is a Kroger grocery store very close to the venue. Those of you who are already in Atlanta may have discovered it. It’s HUGE. We affectionately refer to it as the Kro-Bar because yes, the store has a bar inside. You can come in the back way by turning on Glenwood Ave SE from Boulevard at the BP Station. You will wind around through the neighborhood. Turn left into the shopping center at the Waffle House.

The shopping center has plenty of restaurants (besides Waffle House!) as well.

So that’s it for now. I am looking forward to meeting you all tomorrow!

In Gratitude and Service,

Bucky Motter
